The Role
As our Project Manager, you won’t just manage tasks; you’ll lead the charge from inception to completion. You will be the face of the project for our clients, ensuring every fit-out is delivered safely, on time, and to the exceptional quality standards Geyer Valmont is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of all projects using your expertise in project programming.
- Financial Mastery: Take full ownership of project financials, including cash flow, progress claims, and subcontractor assessments in line with the Security of Payments Act.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong rapport with clients and building managers, ensuring a minimum satisfaction rating and a transparent experience.
- Mentorship: Train, develop, and provide guidance for our Contract Administrators (CAs) to help grow the next generation of talent.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion a "safety first" culture, adhering to all HSEQ Management Systems and statutory requirements.
What You Bring
- Education: A Degree in Project Management (Construction) or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator or Project Coordinator.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and MS Project. Experience with Procore, Jobpac, or Cheops is a major plus.
- Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of NCC requirements, building permits, and services compliance.
- The "Extras": Excellent interpersonal skills, a knack for problem-solving, and a valid White Card (General Induction for Construction Work).
