This is not a narrow engineering role. You’ll work across the full product and platform stack, building features, backend services, cloud infrastructure, integrations, deployment workflows and internal tooling. You’ll help turn prototypes into reliable platform capabilities and influence the way the engineering function grows.
Job Description
What you’ll be doing
Design, build and maintain full-stack features for the Olsyn platform.
Develop backend services, APIs, data workflows and platform integrations.
Contribute to cloud infrastructure, deployment workflows, CI/CD and platform operations.
Support secure authentication, access control, privacy and data handling practices.
Work with large files, visualisation pipelines, digital twin workflows and performance-sensitive data flows.
Integrate AI, automation and data-processing workflows where they add practical value.
Shape technical architecture, engineering standards and future team growth.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
You’re a senior, pragmatic engineer who likes building useful software, solving messy problems and getting things into production. You’re comfortable working with broad ownership, evolving priorities and imperfect information.
Strong full-stack software development experience.
Backend development experience using modern web frameworks.
Frontend experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks.
Experience designing APIs, platform services and production-grade systems.
Practical cloud deployment experience, ideally with AWS or similar environments.
Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, Linux/server environments and modern delivery workflows.
Confidence debugging across frontend, backend, API, database, server and deployment layers.
Good understanding of security basics, authentication, permissions and secure configuration.
